Default Lookin for a good N/A setup...

Ive got a budget of about $2500...Ive got a CAI + n1 catback

For some serious power I was thinkin about the following:

JDM sped header (2.5"), high flo 2.5", custom catback piping 2.5"

Skunk2 IM, skunk2 cams, PnP head...any other ideas?

i wouldn't do skunk 2 cams i would rather do crower cams.. they are cheeper and put out more power from 1000 rpms to 9000 rpms.

What about a good header, 50 shot of NOS, VAFC, Adj. FPR, Cam gears, & Upgraded clutch and flywheel?

Ayyy you guys I wanted somethin nice, fast, and reliable plus DEPENDABLE. All my friends are goin turbo, I guess I might as well.

I swear to christ my mind sways everyday...I really wanted power N/A cuz theres nothin more respectable than a 13 sec all motor (OR FASTER) car N/A.

My car is a Teg indeed. My civic is on cinder blocks right now.

Someone give me links to some turbo kits for 2500 and under (Ill be using DSM injectors + VAFC too!)

If i had that much......i'd just keep my car reliable......and ALL MOTOR! Get a crower/skunk2 head package, ctr oversized pistons, skunk2/jg intake manifold, any kind of aftermarket header, keep the n1 cat back, test pipe, chipped ecu, lowering if not done yet..camber kit...........just keep it simple and reliable..pop your hood to the v8 guys..and it'll look basically stock...lol, but wont sound stock when your reving past 9.5k!!!!!

you can definately choose turbo after N/A. Its not bad, just swap out the parts you don't want in your turbo setup. I like the N/A approach. Im working on getting Cams and Cam gears, then eventually some B16 Pistons and ill have a nice all motor setup running 13's...and 12's with my slicks maybe

I have crower 63402 vtec cams, I'm only making 170 to the wheels...I did expect more... Go with some skunk 2's or Toda's; crowers are great cams for non-vtec...
I haven't tuned the cams yet though... just the a/f ratio with the s100...

It runs very strong, I thought it would make more power, but it has a nice broad powerband

2500 bux is easily spent when going N/A.

Toda would be a good selection, but that'd eat up the money so fast. Cams and valvesprings would eat up almost 60% of the money.

I'd suggest buying some EF-1 (www.ef-1.com) cams / valvesprings. They are very resonably priced and judging from the specs, are very agressive.

Get some CTR pistons to make those cams sing well into the high RPMs.

Header Tech header and custom exhaust, and you'll be set.

Lets review:
EF-1 Cams / Valvesprings = 950 bux (rough figure)
CTR Pistons = 325
Header Tech header = 600
Total = $1875

leaves you plenty of money to toy around with
