car wont' start sometimes..what could be the problem?

car wont' start sometimes..what could be the problem?

as the title says...my 89 dx sometimes have hard time starting. it cranks, turn over, get sparks but won't start. it only happens when the weather is a bit hot. what could be the problem? fuel pump?

main relay... mine did exactly the same thing... wouldnt start when it was hot outside

yes, could be the main relay..or a bad starter..or your igniter may be on the way out. mine needed replacing and i also have an 89 dx. found out only after i replaced the starter, main relay, ECU and battery.

I almost guarentee it's the main relay.Mine did the same thing and it went away after I replaced it. This is a very, very common problem with our cars. Buy a new one. They're only $50 fom honda.

This is funny to me my car and four of my friends we all have 4th gens had the same prob.... thats why i think this is funny... Changed the relay and pooofff... no more issues lol.. five dollars junk yard yee hawwww
