Does anyone know how the heads-up competition is going to work at Hondafest? I've never competed and I'd like to know how they break it down. I know that there will be two categories N/A and Turbod/supercharged, but do they do breakdowns in each category??? Thanks for the help!

 

Two categories. All motor and Forced Induction. There will probably be some kind of a qualifying session. After that the top 8 or 16 cars will be picked from each class. Then eliminations start.

So basically my 14 second car would never make it to the finals in the f/i category? That sucks, well there's always bracket racing!

 

If your fi car runs 14's I would rather run that thing in the brackets, you have a better chance at winning unless all the cars in your field will break, etc. 14 seconds is quick but not as quick as most of the FI cars running around here.

Actually, as of yesterday it runs 13s (woo hoo). But I realize that people in the F/I category are going to have crazy set ups. I'll stick with brackets until my motor is built. Thanks for the information!!!

 

i want competitions like this out on the best coast to...i mean west coat..sorry

 

today i went to the meadow lands how far away from that is englishtown did not see no signs for it and dint see really many nice cars in nj when i was out there today
