what is a Intake bypass valve ?

Default what is a Intake bypass valve ?
is it to make sure no water gets in?

It's the valve for aem intakes that opens so you don't hydrolock your engine with water.

could i get an aem bypass valve and put it on a dif. intake? im afraid of getting water in my filter when i put my intake in.

as long as you get the right inch because som are 3" and some are 2.5"
