Yes, you just need to have the B-pipe modified to fit. Any muffler shop can do this.

 

extend the B-pipe 4" and you're set. -C

 

no modifying. a jdm itr exhaust bolts on directly to a gsr. a guy from jdmhondaparts.com have a jdm itr exhaust in his gsr, and he didnt even modify it. he told me that he compared his gsr exhaust to a jdm itr exhaust and the dimentions are the same.

 

JDM ITR exhaust and USDM ITR exhaust = Same.

 

Not exactly true. JDM header and CAT are different size (diameter of openings, and length). B-Pipe is the same except for the 2.5" opening, as long as we are talking about 2 door cars.

When used together (header and CAT) they will fit to the USDM B-Pipe (but will not have the same diameter opening).

 

Im using a jdm r muffler on my gsr. I didnt have to modify anything? I've never compared the jdm against us itr muffler. Although I heard the jdm piping is bigger? I dont know.

 

maybe the B-pipe dia. is the same (that would mean the Muffler is the same too).

All I know is the four door is different.

i think it will only bolt directly to the 00+ GSR which i think the CAT was moved and the USDM ITR exhaust bolts directly on...which should mean the JDM one does also

 

Not really. Assuming it's the same length as the US ITR one, then it is 4 inches too short. I actually have it on my gsr.

yes and no. The 94-99 GSR's have a shorter header which is why the exhaust doesn't reach, the 00+ gsr use a USDM ITR header (you bastards!) so it bolts directly. the cat length is the same.

 

yeah, i have a jdm honda radio, but it doesn't seem to work

but seriously, i will never understand why anyone would buy an itr muffler for their gsr, jdm, usdm, european whatever...

 

OK, I'll school you then. The ITR exhaust is 2.25" all stainless steeal mandrel bent exhaust. Most aftermarket exhaust aren't even stainless, but as 2.25." The best thing about it is that is is very QUIET and looks stock (sleeper effect). My car ran 3 tenths faster with it.

Also, the opening flange of the B-pipe is actually about 2" (same size of the cat), but I replaced it with a 2.25" flange. HTH, -C

Type-C is right the lengths of the 94-99 Integras are different than the Type-R and 2000-2001 Integras. THe 94-99's had a longer B pipe. My understanding is the JDM setup is the same as the 2000-2001 and Type-R setup.
