ENDLESS MONEY PIT? whats wrong with your DAILY DRIVER?

ill start off first,
1. My alarm is messing up for the 3rd time
2. My ignitor is going out
3. Possibly my map sensor is going out
4. Just put in a new $1400 Type R tranny along with a new puck and resurfaced my flywheel.
5. I need new mounts ($500) because i guess i make too much power for the stock ones and there starting to flex a little bit
6. Need a oil change soon
7. Rims need to be balanced and rotated
8. parts of my interior are falling apart because of past theives.
9. My e-cut out isnt closing all the way and my Greddy sp sounds like a fart can
10. While driving my car sounds like its got a million loose bolts in the back would put in the back seat but it has too manny burn wholes from the "hot box" high school days
11. My STR throttle body came apart on the freeway and the return spring went missing so right now its bungie corded
Sometimes i just want something stock that rides nice and that i dont need to keep ******* with, i swear my Civic always has someway of raping my wallet each month i cant take it anymore why does **** always go wrong, i hate my DAILY DRIVER right now
i swear ima sell that **** or drive it off a cliff and get a truck (OH NO NOT A TRUCK)

head swapped my dx for an ex back during the winter heres how it went
had tons of error codes, misfire in 3 or more cylinders, o2 sensor codes all, fuel pressure sensor code...etc....
1) sputtery idle
2) overheating
3) tps sensor(cleaned and it fixed itself)
4) power steering pump(bought another)
5) map sensor(cleaned and it fixed itself)
then did turbo install and now have
6) overheating(fixed with dual core radiator, but not before replacing thermo)
7) 2 blown piston rings (110 and 65 was compression test)
8) blown headgasket(x2)
now im getting another motor
but im fed up with doing the work myself, so im letting it become this shop near my houses headache

Where to begin 
1) Both rear shocks blown, but it's an '88 so you can't use '89-'91 parts, only '88 or Type R
2) Random, unpredictable 'ooooo' noise at freeway speeds, complete with madly vibrating steering wheel (I'm thinking it's maybe the front hubs going?)
3) humming noise that appears and disappears - but only when turning left (again, maybe the hubs?)
4) Shift linkage was welded too long and now the shift **** is almost in the dash, it's so far forward (neutral looks like 3rd)
5) Rusted-out rear quarterpanels; fixed twice with Bondo but it re-rusts out from the inside of the car
6) Puddles appearing in the rear hatch area when it rains (from where? Who knows? I've already used silicone all over the place...)
7) Rear-end accident never fixed completely so taillights are wonky + so's the rear bumper - doesn't line up right
8) Trucks dropping rocks on my windshield, leaving chips
9) Driver's side seat BROKE suddenly one day as I sat down; I'm currently using two CRX Si passenger seats, but the one on the driver's side doesn't line up right...
10) Squeaks + rattles from hell in the rear hatch compartment... I'm working on this one
11) Radiator mount points snapped; the radiator's currently held in place with zip ties
12) I went ghetto and used Radio Shack stereo wire for a lot of my engine swap; such a bad idea + now I have to redo it
13) Needed spacers to fit the Integra DA knuckle conversion, but now the wheel studs are too short, so the wheel almost fell off once 'cause the lugs loosened
14) I call my car Sir Stalls-A-Lot; you can figure out why
Sometimes it idles high, sometimes it idles low, it never idles right
15) Single-wheel-peel under almost any spirited driving conditions (I also call my car Captain Ahab in reference to the peg leg)
16) Stereo that I spent over a grand on SUCKS and gets out-done by the stock stereo in my g/f's 200SX
17) Rear brake hats are out-of-round so the brakes shudder
18) Left rear brake line is clogged, somehow, some way... not sure where the clog is... but it means I have a mushy pedal and I have no idea what to replace
19) The clutch safety switch I installed for track use SQUEAKS LOUDLY whenever I use the clutch - I need to pull a pedal set from an '89-'91 CRX Si and install that
20) All the suspension bushings are shot + torn. I have almost 290,000km's on this car, so I'm not surprised

But right now I'm just trying to figure out what's the most broken
I don't think I'll ever get to go turbo at this rate... the only good thing about my car is that it doesn't burn ANY oil and the engine is very strong.

Not to be a dick but I have to agree. This is a lesson we have all had to learn (some the hard way) Do it right the first time or do it right some time down the road (and spend a lot more $$$ doing it) but it has to be done right sooner or later (its the SOONER part we're talkign about
)
As for my daily driver, other than a severly dented header and a shitty exhaust (being replaced as I write this) I'm perfectly happy

hell everyone wants new rims and a paint job with body work, i would of listed it but i guess its not a nessessity even though it kind of is
-Needs new shocks and springs, they're all blown
-needs major rust repair
-needs new suspension bushings
-ACT clutch makes a funny noise when I ride it
Other than that, it's been pretty good to me

someone fucked my paint up dirty style and wasnt insured at the tiem it was just parked a tmy house for 6 months so now its primered ugly!
put ctr pistons acl bearings hond arings honda headkgasket and etc in
headgasket blew
replaced HG
blew again
bought another dx motor
just got call from shipping company they fucekd up and are trying to charge me 434 dollars and tell me a d15 longblock without alt dist header sensors and drained everythign weighs 600 pounds
now im hoping i can out my ex tranny on it and get it runnina nd paint it and sell it and say **** my car im tired of it

#5 - Why not just get motor mount inserts? Much cheaper and it will stop the flexing.
6-7 is beyond normal for owning any car
Yeah it sucks you are having small problems here and there, but they are pretty small in the long run.
I have a friend whos integra is on the third motor.
1st one the dealership forgot to put oil in it, seized, wouldn't admit fault and he didn't want to fight it
2nd one he picked out a bad motor and it blew a piston ring after 10k miles
I have other friends with much more troubles.

broken shifter (didnt even brake when i was shifting with it)
I need different shiftlinkage inserts cause my linkage fell out while racing
severe wear on my tires after the engine swap
have to buy camber kit
then get it aligned
axles buckle when letting the clutch out (Im using the correct setup too)
I sometimes get bindage when turning...
water temp guage is pegged (its prolly groundin out)
oil pressure gauge wont work(bought new gauge and nothin)
my battery needs some sort of tie down bounces all over
header wrap came off one pipe
open header attracts to much attention (dad is making me get it fixed)
my seatbelts wont retract all the way stupid people that ride with me ALWAYS shut them in the door, making more an more gouges all the time.
big sheepskin seatcovers are dirty from swap cause I wanted to drive it
my car has a black hood and purple tint the paint has lost its gloss even with a wax job I need a new climate conrol cause I broke that....
Sometimes I just want to strip it out and and have it be a track *****.
other times I floor it, and then I think, nahh I like how it is...
Hopefully we'll all be able to get our cars running/driving like we want soon!
