It alll depends on what paint you have, you see yellowcrx has Y-49, which makes him say things like that.If your car is red, you won't hit an walls....

ok here is a serious reply, if the swap is done correctly and the engien is jpec, i estimate low 13 seconds. the 1g rex is very ligth. the only prblem i forsee is traction. but if u have the money, go to http://www.hasport.com, they make mount kits for the engine. but beware, the speedo can NOT be modified to show the correct speed.

What?
No problems with my speedo. And low 13's is a joke with a B16 w/ bolt-ons. High 14's is a nice number to shoot for. If you beat it, then more power to you

High 14's in a first gen?
Hmm, I would have though weighing 1700lbs instead of 2100lbs would have been an advantage. Maybe low 14's is a better estimate.

I agree high 14s only the 1g crx HF is 17xx lbs... and you dont want to use it (Carbed... good luck installing new lines) so 87 SI CRX rated at a 1930lbs plus 100lbs motor difference add an average driver 180lbs you looking at a 2200 lbs approx... and you got a 160 hp and no torque and youll need to get 200 whp to hit low 13s. so where are you goign to get 60-70 hp with boltons... not to mention traction problems youll have ... youll need 600lbs rear srpings atleast and mighty torsion bars but you have to get those to even put the engine in place

i have a 88 crx si weighs in at 2250 with me in it. and i went 14.06 at 97.99mph on slicks. that was my first time ever on slicks. and all i have done is intake header and some str cam gears.
The B16 is actually well suited for the 1G's. You don't really miss the lack of torque because the car is relatively light. Traction is a big problem as mentioned many times earlier. Now, if you converted it to AWD like some rare ZCs........ I would say in the 1/4, you'd get mid 14's, if you are lucky.
I just realized how awesome that would be. 160hp B16 in a 1700lb AWD car.... Take on the Puegots and WRX's in the rallies.
