ok my goal for this season was 12.999 or better on my stock LS motor (about 100k on it) with whatever amount of boost, on street tires. . now, so far my best is 13.82 but at 103.5 thats on a humid night, way too much air out the tires, pump gas and the 8.7 psi spring. Ok now i know i was easily capable of a 13.6 or 13.5 with a better 60 ft (2.33 . ) So all im doing now is ive upgrade to a 11.6 psi spring and i got the falken azenis which i should hook up alot better with, ive taken out a few lbs off the car, and im thinkin of mixing maybe a 50/50 mix of fuel 105 unld and 93 pump gas. . im goin to wait till probably begining of Sept when it is nice n cool out at night too. . . i think i may be able to squeeze it out. ANything little u can suggest? im just hoping for a sick *** 60 ft and let the boost do the rest.

traction bars eliminate wheel hop and you're 60 fts will get lower and more importantly you'll be more consistent.

also, you may want some drag radials rather than the azenis, they have very stiff sidewalls b/c they are an auto-x tire.

Some have luck with them others don't. Its still the best street tire to run on but if you can run some drag radials.

 

thanks, fortuantly i havent had wheel hop problems at all. . . i guess these cheapo- mount inserts helped?? i was going to go with the BFG radial which ive had good luck with before its just the azenis were so cheap it was tempting to try em out. 3 weeks or so im bringin it out to shoot for 12.9's
