buying toda b's ? vtec x-over
hey guys I'll be buying a set of toda b's and I don't have the time to have it tuned just yet but around what rpm should i set the vtec x-over to be. so i don't have that big loss in power. I know most of you will say get it tuned but the thing is i can't for an other month or more. also what injectors should i get
thanks

the VTEC crossover on those cams is really high, and the ONLY way to find it for YOUR SPECIFIC car would be a trip to the dyno and some tuning.
Just keep saving until you can get that all together. I know Kenji or someone else sells chips for cars running toda b's but none of them are perfect programs, it will get you running but will still require fine tuning. I know dan at godspeed sells chips for the spec b's also.

yea I knew you guys would say that. I know I will not be running perfect but I don't want to run like crap "you know what i mean" and about a month r 2 after the cams go in I will be able to head to a dyno.
a friend of mine is running the spec b's in his type-r motor and had it tuned at Dynamic's up in Irvine. i'm not to sure where his crossover point was set at, but you could barely hear the crossover, the transition was pretty smooth with those cams
.....many people have had good results with the crossover at ~6200.
Try that as a starting point and go up or down a couple hundred rpm to fine tune it..... on the dyno of course.
