Default Diagnosing Engine - Pics included

Hey guys...I posted about this d16a6 a few weeks back it had

205 210 25 23 compression with

45% 10% 95% 98% leakdown (all high leaks were from the exhaust valves)

Just for kciks I've pulled the head and looky what I've found. I think you can guess which cylenders are dead. I've never done this before...but I'm curious as to what would give me the bad compression.

This looks normal...I think

I'm not sure if the head gasket should leave a residue like this

Anyone done this before....any tips as to what I should be fixing?

The scoring on the cylender is follows the normal thatching pattern...except at some spots I have verical scrathches...so I assume I got dirt in the engine.

The dead cylenders have some grainy residue in em...allmost sandy.

Thanks

Pierre

pics are very bad, but judging from these 2 pics

looks like the headgasket is leaking between the cylinders which would be the reason why both cylinders have low compression (notice in between the 2 combustion chambers where it's a little darker)
