safe bore on ls vtec

Default safe bore on ls vtec

i have some 84mm 12.5 je's that i want to run. will these be ok for a bored ls block? do you think the sleeves will crack real soon?

For 84mm pistons you should sleeve it no matter on a ls block. Stock sleeves can only handle i believe an 82mm bore safely and anything above that needs to be sleeved.

stock ls sleeves cant be bored to 84mm. you need to resleeve it and bore to 84mm
