Alternative to Sparco rails
Well at long last I finally got a set of JDM bling-bling Vision Super Low slider rails. They are only available for the JDM driver side but upon inspecting them it looks like they can be installed on passenger or driver side. The only thing that prevents using them on the US driver side is the stock seat belt mounting bracket. However, if you're using them on a racing seat with harnesses then you can just cut the welds and remove it.
Comparison with Sparco rails Vs. Vision super low rails.
Right side
Left Side
Vision set
The Vision rails mount about 1.5 inches lower then the Sparco rails and about the same height then stock rails customized to use Sparco side mount brackets. I'm not sure if the Vision brackets are tall enough to reach the holes in the Sparco seat but I'll find out this weekend.

man, you are seriously on a QUEST to make your seat attached correctly to your car.
at worst, looks like all youll need is an extra adaptor plate to raise the attachment points to the seat, which is a lot easier than an adaptor plate to the chassis.

Which Sparco seat are you using these with?
Curious, my Pro2k sits sort of high at the moment. (until someone *cough* decides to buy it from me) Luckily, I'm short and I have just enough headroom w/ my helmet on.

I think these will easily work with narrow side mount seats. The evo 2 (which I'm using) is a bit wider and looks like it might be a bit harder to get to fit.
Bottom mount seats such as the Pro2000 won't fit these.
