Default What cat-backs are the dc5's running?

Well as it reads. I got my new RSX-S last thursday, The CAI will be here on Friday but I want some feedback on your cat back exhausts. We have done a Comptech and a Skunk2 at work. But I did not like the look of the Comptech, The Skunk2 won he over so much that I bought one for my Hatchback. I want something different and nice. Preferably with a silencer.
Let me know what you got and wether you would buy it again ir not.....Thanks in advance.

we have installed the greddy evo, injen ses, invidia, as well as comptech. Biggest factor is price and style of muffler you are going for. Majority of all the brand name exhuasts are going to have a very clean sound. Take care, Andy

Had the Skunk2 first, it was ok, typical Honda-exhaust sounding.

Now I have the A'PEXi WS. If you want the stock sounding, stock look, WS gets the nod. I personally LOVE the WS now and will be buying one for my Civic.

I heard that the skunk2 catback exhaust sits close to the rear bumper and people have had alot of problems with thier rear lip melting.
I have the Hayame cat back exhaust on my S and it sounds great. With the silencer on the exhaust is quiter then stock.
If you want go to http://www.clubrsx.com and download some exhaust sound clips to see what you like. Good luck.

I still hear of a few problems with the Skunk2 to this day, but I guess those are only a few case's. I think I will stick to my Hayame exhaust and be happy .
