How does it run? Is it easy to work with? What is all that I will have to get or do to the car? What is that black box for and what would happend if it went out?

G'damn look at this quote from the revhard guy on clubrsx

...Just by you writing your story proved that you are just here to bash us. For what? Is that what Cybernation gave you a discount for? ...

RevHard acts like 2 puerto ricans running a bolt on shop.

I was reading something on clubrsx awhile ago and heard something wrong with cybernations exhaust manifold. What you ask, I heard that when the guy that owned the rsx said

<TABLE WIDTH="90%" CELLSPACING=0 CELLPADDING=0 ALIGN=CENTER><TR><TD>Quote &raquo;</TD></TR><TR><TD CLASS="quote">when I was shifting from 2nd to 3rd the engine had to much "vibration"(movement) and the exhaust manifold had hit the firewall and had busted the exhaust manifold and left holes. </TD></TR></TABLE>

I was thinking about the cybernation kit, but.........until I heard this. Is there any reliable turbo kit out there right now?

sorry if it seems as if I hijacked your thread. Didn't want to make another turbo thread.

I will try to find the thread.

EDIT: found it here

I'm on the west coast, is there any authorized installers for cybernation? I heard there was a shop in sacramento that did installs and dyno tuning, whats the shop called?

<TABLE WIDTH="90%" CELLSPACING=0 CELLPADDING=0 ALIGN=CENTER><TR><TD>Quote, originally posted by "cybernation" from other thread &raquo;</TD></TR><TR><TD CLASS="quote"> One thing about Cybernation we never hide or duck from our problems. We always accept responsibility and we always fix the problem. Yes we had a recent batch of turbo manifold that have crack along the waste gate 3 to be exact. Keep in mind that there are also other cars out there from 7 months to little over one year with no manifold problems. This particular failure is linked to a particular contractor who opted to use a lower grade material than what was specified. However we are left holding the bag with a couple of very unhappy customers who have every right to be upset BUT WE WILL FIX THE PROBLEM.

PLAN OF ACTION

Replace the crack manifolds free of charge. (all customers with crack manifold were already informed)

Upgrade the manifold material to a grade 5 times as strong with reinforcements as a precaution to prevent future problems.

Move turbo manifold production in house to provide better quality control and SPEED UP DELIVERY TIME. (Manifold production is already in house and the first couple are already completed).

Send out engine mount inserts with every RSX turbo kit (aggressive shifting form 1 st to 2 nd gear is very hard on the stock engine mounts due to the increased hp. The engine mount upgrades are needed to prevent unnecessary vibration and banging that can weaken the turbo manifold when hot).

Cybernation is a honest company that you can trust to do the right thing. We never screw our customers and will always fix our problems.

ZeeRSX soon you will receive a new manifold that will be just about unbreakable. We will also pay you up to $150 dollars in labor to get it installed. But we need you to send the old one back. </TD></TR></TABLE>

sounds good, but I dont know. I dont want to drop 5K for a turbo kit that wont even last me for 1 year. Any other know problems with cybernation?

The above quote explains the cracked manifold

Finally talked to the guy on the thread from clubrsx, and says everything is working perfect and says that he is sending his car to florida from california to get stage 2 done . Seems like cybernation is a good choice
