HKS HI-power or Apexi N1?
I was thinking of going some time this week or next week to buy an cat-back exhaust system. The 2 that I have in mind is HKS HI-power and Apexi N1. I can't make my mind up on 1. Maybe you guys can help me out. I want an exhaust that has a nice deep sound (noting that sound like a punch bugie) and that would alost of power (HPs). Help??

 

I've got the N1 and love it. It sounds AWESOME on FI cars, and it sounds really good on my car. I've got a B18C powered hatch and it sounds damn good too. Anything less than DOHC I wouldn't do it. I think it sounds pretty raspy on smaller motors.

its an exhaust, none of them are going to give you a lot of hp. unless you have a turbo.

post a pic of the HKS unit......i cant recall what it looks like.

apexi n1. give us a call. we have them on special.

 

you go HKS if you have $$$$, and you go APEXI if you want a nice exhaust setup
otherwise, the power gains and the sound will vary on what mods, engine you have. personally I have N1 with F.I...I love the deep quiet rumble that my car makes.

I have the N1 with a test pipe its so loud. kinda ricy but with out the test pipe its got a good tone to I i give it

 

hey guys u got the hiper on my eg...sounds good and looks good...it hung a lil low for my taste so i custom bent it to go over the LCA...here are some pics...
