1. the fan switch on an a1 block is on the back of the block with two lil nipples to connect to....the a2 block doesn't have it....or is it the sensor sittin on the thermostat housing? if so can i just rewire up to that sensor?
2. the vtec solenoid does not have the lower threaded part for the pressure switch? is my best bet to get the a1 lower vtec solenoid housing?
3. can i wire straight to the a2 map sensor and get rid of the one on my firewall? (oh, and how about that charcoal canister, can i ditch that?)

that's the only questions/concerns i'm having with my swap...any help would be greatly appreciated...thanks

You are correct, just extend the wires on your harness to the thermostat housing and wire it with a normal 2 prong plug.

Newer JDM second gen B16A I'm assuming? They don't use a pressure switch. You can either get an older style JDM or any USDM VTEC solenoid or you can simply wire around it. Ask Kenji how to do it I forget and I never wrote it down but I does work.

Yes you can stretch the factory wiring of the MAP to reach the new MAP mounted on the throttle body. I wouldn't eliminate the charcoal canister though. Just hook up all the vacuum lines that you can.

I emailed Kenji and he told me the process of wiring "around" the newer JDM VTEC solenoid's that don't use a VTEC pressure switch. Of course you could always get an older solenoid or any USDM one, but this is a lot cheaper and just as efficient.
If the OBDI ECU you are using looks for a VTEC Pressure Switch, all you need to do is:

1.) Cut the wire for the VTEC pressure switch (D6)

2.) Tap into the VTEC solenoid wire (A4) using the ECU side of the wire that you just cut at D6.

Other OBD ECU's have the pinouts in different locations but you use the same procedure.
