I recently had a 02 si that would make a loud popping noise only in the rain. The noise wasn't affected by speed, it would just start to pop after a few minutes in the rain. I had three dealers check it out and they all found nothing. Please advise.

 

there has been many other posts on popping noise's you might want to check them out and see what other people say about it on the other posts, But with the 02-03 civic there also been popping sounds if you have intake, Check those posts out also.

 

The only popping sound that comes to mind is when the raindrops hit the window guide on the back of the window. It is kinda loud, and is right in my left ear. These EP3's do seem loud in the rain.
