Default IACV Question

Alright i put a custom intake manifold on my 91 crx si and now it wont idle. When i start it it revs to 5k and then to 1k and bounces back and fourth. If i unplug the iacv then it just idles realy rough between 1 and 2k. Is the iacv broken or something?

It is wired right and all coolant hoses are connected to it.

I also took out my fast idle control solinoid but that shouldnt matter.

ok ya its gotta be a vac leak, i reved it to redline and now i hear a faint whistle.. damn vac leaks!! is there any easy way to find them.. like spray something on there and see if it bubbles i guess.

i torqued down all the sensors and it only revs to 3 grand now, so i guess its just a game of find the leak now.
