Well, my B16 pulled a 9.6 eighth mile. What do you consider "respectable"?

You you ran a 15.99 on the 1/4. your 1/8 should be 10.25. If you ran a 15.0 1/4, then you would run about 9.6 1/8. That should help you.

9.6 eighth = 15.0? I don't think so. Try like a 14.7. (look at my sig, that 9.6 was with a horrible launch too.)

at the local 1/8th mile track around here it takes low 9s to be competitive. but anywhere in the 9s is pretty respectable.

I have a CRX HF with a B18A1 swap and I/H/E. My best time in the 1/8 is 9.78 at 73 mph on crappy 'camber-worn' street tires. I'm gonna buy some slicks soon, so hopefully I can get a 9.2-9.3 out of her.
