2 exhaust or 1 exhaust

2 exhaust or 1 exhaust
Im trying to figure out which is better. Is 2 exhaust or 1 exhaust better for built motors? I heard if you install 2 exhaust you lose 3/10 of a sec. Is this true even if we ran smaller piping? Is there any way to have 2 exhaust hooked up and working without losing 3/10 of sec?

two exhausts, three turbos and an eight port DI NOS 
you reffering to a dual outlet exhaust i presume?
on an inline engine like Honda's a dual outlet exhaust does nothing, except attract flames, ridicule and pointing.
