I have one from http://www.tekinqauto.com for my '99 Hatch. I have a Sparco Steering wheel. It works great. A bunch of my friends are buying from them too.

Just ask for the Momo/Sparco release system. It's about $140.

I was looking into the one that http://www.esses.us/esses/esses.htm offers - it seems to be of quality. I didnt realize that jhp offered the signal auto version though, may have to look into that one also.

Anyone had experience with the esses hub by chance?

Heres a pic of it for anyone curious:

(I have another pic of it from a track event someone took but I cant seem to find it at the moment)

sorry for the newbie question. But do these act as hub also, meaning will this replace my momo hub on my aftermarket steering wheel?

i don't think you can use these for stock steering wheels....these quick release's go in between the aftermarket hub and wheel, where the 6 bolts go.

no they do not replace the momo hub, instead they act as sort of a "spacer" between the hub and the wheel

tekniq snap-off system

anyone with this system know what the key is for? do you need the key every time you want to release the wheel? wouldn't seem that "quick" if you needed a key.
