past few months when I start up the car and go, it'll get stuck in 1st or 2nd gear. after a while it'll make a pretty loud grinding noise and it'll be okay after that.

Recently, it'll downshift when i'm coasting and get stuck in 2nd gear and basically free rev up to 3000 rpm until it starts to go again. sometimes it won't shift on its own until 5000rpm.

any ideas whats wrong with my tranny? is it fixiable?
