Default AC removal

Ok, did a search in most of the forums, the only one I found was for a 3g teg. How do you relieve the pressure lines of freon before taking **** off? Its on a 96 civichatch.

The proper way is to have it discharged at an authorized a/c service shop. Shouldn't cost you anything being that you are giving them R134a from your car that they can put in someone elses system. R134a has value although it isn't as high as R12.
