Default performance from upgraded MC and Booster

i am goign to replace me MC and booster soon. I am running stock disk and drum setup on my 89 crx si. would i gain anythign by using the teg MC and booster?

You are going to run stock brakes? Depending on how large of a MC you go with it may actually get dangerous. From experience, I upgraded to a large MC and booster before I did a brake swap. The brakes engaged extremely early compared to the stock setup. I used to be able to press down a bit over half the travel of the brake pedal before I was able to lock up the wheels. With the upgrade I would only get to a little over 1/4 travel and it would be complete wheel lock up. After the brake swap braking went back to normal.

you dont need much to stop a 2000 lbs car. drums in bake and disk in front will be fine. I guess i wills tay with the stock MC and booster.

Agreed. I've got the type r conversion. It's great on the track with r compounds but with street tire in the city, they lock up really easy.
