For anyone here with 12.0+ C/R running on pump gas, what kind of cam profile are you running. I heard that wilder cams are less prone to detonation because it lower your dynamic compression ratio.

 

running 12.5 je pistons 84.5mm bore and stock itr cams 94 octane gas

 

I've seen 13.2:1 with JUN III cams on 93 oct. Don't even ask about timing

 

heh ive been lookin for info on this too, more california people tho where we have 91 octane tho

It seems like most people are running aftermarket cams. Does anyone here know of a good company that does regrind for a decent price.

Yes, 12.5:1 on 91 octane.

 

13.44-1, 93 octane, stock timing. Our cams (with near-stock primary lobes).
