Default Question for moderator

Why the hell are there so many stupid people with stupid questions on here? Thanks for trying to get rid of this crap. I swear everytime I ask a question that is somewhat tech, nobody answers. But "Which tail lights look better gets 10,000 responses." I'm just venting, but please continue your good work on getting rid of these ***-clowns.

And have an e-beer

All users please use the search function to at least get some Idea of what you are talking about before posting a question that has been asked 1000 times already.

The forum has been looking a lot better lately, so for those that come here for honest tech info, w/out BS

Yes, thanks for locking some of the lamest posts I've ever seen. Like that 02 Si dual exhuast post.

I think you guys should implement some rules. Like the HybridForum has, and if people continue to abuse the rules, boot them out.

Personally, I'm tired of seeing posts like:

What is rice
Which taillights look best
How do I change my spark plugs (if you don't know this, go pay a mechanic)
Where's my oil filler at?
Some polls (like what color is your civic, because I'm bored)
Etc, etc, etc.

This board gets a ton of traffic, and I see a LOT of quality posts, but the stupid ones just stand out more, and force the good ones to the bottom of the stack where no one actually reads.

Just my .02 worth.

i agree, maybe we need some sort of rules, some of the questions are getting a bit out of hand. while i understand that there are alot of people who are very new to playing with their cars and really are looking for help there are alot of people that just post crap, errr rice. i mean i like to help people out if i can but i really don't like to see overly basic questions. and as of late it seems to be getting worse.

The rules are somewhat in place now, If it is pointless, it will be locked. If you failed to do a search on a topic that has been covered 800 times, it will be locked. If you are asking a question on a purely opinion based topic, it will be locked.

It is not too much to ask for people to at least do some of their own research, and to make up their own friggin minds about which are the "dopest tail lights, and loudest exhaust"

you gotta drain the tranny cable hyrdo clutch bearing seal first....you have to take the car to a proffesional rice mechanic to change the blinker fluid itself. it might cost you around 500-600 bucks to do it. hope that helps!

another tip to save you some money in the long run is to make sure you change your alternator fluid. it runs on Gatoraide ICE in summer, and lemon lime in the winter.(sorry, inside joke for years, always gets brought up with stupid questions)
