Default race in PA on aug. 29

local track is having a "fast and furious night" the name sucks but it is decent pay outs if you are decently local and 3 classes. all motor 4 , power 4, all 6/rotary. all motor 4 if you run better than 12.50's you got it pretty much in the bag unless someone out of the area shows up. power 4 you will need 9's to win but after that low 11's, then low 12's. last night about a month ago was all DSM's and my buddies 240sx so we need to get honda's into the quick 8. the 6/rotary will be interesting. my friend is single turboing his supra and it should be ready for that. I am guessing if you are in 10's in that class you will win or be close to winning. I hope some fast cars from the north easy show up....... here is the site..... http://www.pittsburghracewaypark.com

Yea I went to the last one, and managed to qualify in the quick 8 in the power four class but my girl borke an axle so I didn't take the chance on sending 2 cars home on a flatbed(120mi for me) But besides that little incident it was a decent little race.

I saw your car boosted hatch and I must say it ran really well.

mack- if you are all motor with that time you got it in the bag if you drive up unless someone faster from out of state or whatever shows up

Thanks man,I should be able to get those times down a little more cause I was having some problems with my boost controler, it was creeping and hitting the overboost cutoff and dropping boost to .40 bar in the top of third gear, and completly killing any chance of some high mph.

350 whp turbo cars are a dime a dozen these days....not that impressive if hes got a built motor.

A bolt on turbo kit will make 325+ whp on a b16. It should be good for low 12's high 11's though depending on how hot it gets.

Keystone used to be a real **** hole. How is it now?

EVo- keystone- now known as pittsburgh raceway park, lol- is really nice. the new owners have their heads on straight. track is coming around.

jdm- my car is ok. not a honda, and nothing to brag about. nothing personal to you- but if your gonna talk smack- atleast have a car that can back it up.

I have heard of the bad blood between sam/mark- but leave that to them. i never seen him slam mark in this thread. My hats off to marks car. But to you- run your car, not your mouth.

Yah pittsburgh raceway is real nice. They want to bring it to the leval of maple groove and tracks of that like.

It has been repaved, lengthened, new lights (good ones too), new paint, more parking and pits (the hill side has been teared, 3 levals I think), new pavilion, new consesion stand, along with making it a real business where the track is opened 4-5 days a week.

I am the sponor for the event (Village Performance). If anyone has questions about the event please call me. I will be happy to inform you of directions, payouts, classes, etc.

TIA

well we'll see everyone up there then. It looked nice on the site..i just remember how big of a shithole keystone was...its was more like a joke last time i ran there i bent a ******* rim on a pothole on the return road next to the track to pick up my time slip. That was cute.

i did this event last year when I could, they had an all motor 6 class then. I guess they took that out and I would have to run against the power 6 guys now. Damn, I know last year I would still beat them but probably not now even though I run 11's.

The owner is a great guy, money is good and I believe payouts are guaranteed no matter how many people show up.

As far as the drive, just shy of 4 hours from Baltimore, all highway and not that bad at all. Very easy to get to off the PA turnpike. If I remember correctly you can take exit 6 or exit 4.

If you can make it, go, people are great there. bring boards for your jacks as the pits are all gravel.
