Well, doesn't look too bad. What a bunch of amateurs. At least they didn't take the motor
Good luck with the insurance. Hope to see your car in one piece soon

Well yeah, that's what I have in my car... there's a good reason they didn't take it. Its worthless. (Well, worth $800... but is that worth their time?)
Looks like they were shopping for specific parts because that's not nearly the worst one I've seen.

)

time to hook that **** up man.... i bet you can buy it back for around 1500 to 2000 and then use the other maybe 5, 6 grand for a gsr/r motor swap and jdm front end with some sparcos. and its well worth 150 bucks for like an alpine alarm or something. make it loud and hide the wires in really odd places so its not a routine car jackin next time. the same shti happened to me when i was at work. came out for lunch and it was gone. came up on insurance though. the yellow car you see as my avatar is the outcome of it getting jacked... way nicer now minus the leather.
go to johns salvage yard... interstate auto wholesale on foster road around foster auto parts and u pull it. he should have everything you need as far as stock parts. way cheaper than buying new ****. he has bumpers and seats for sure.he should have new ignition too, one out of a civic will work i've done it before on a 94 ls theft recovery that i bought from him. i think it was out of a 99 civic but its probly the same for all years.but pretty much all the interior that got jacked like trunk carpet and all that bs will be there... good luck with insurance. just get on autotrader and see what it goes for plus the body kit and tell em what up. they shoudl work with you depending on who it is. proggressive was good to me except for when they sent an investigator suspecting insurance fraud... that was kinda gay..... the only reason they did that though is cuz the ***** vandalized it a bit after they stripped it... raised their suspision
good to see you recovered your car.
I wouldnt call them amateur. They got what they were after without getting caught.
Not every stolen car gets stripped. Maybe they were after a vtec engine and only found an b18b? maybe they just wanted the exterior parts and didnt have the facilities to hoist the engine...
maybe they were after the easy bolt ons and only had a short amount of time to work in the dark... who knows... Lets put things in perspective and try to be more supportive of this guy.
Just be grateful the car's back.

is it possible that they didnt want the engine cause of the auto tranny? cause when you steal and engine you want the ecu, axles, tranny and engine right? they probably noticed it was auto and said "fawwwwwwwk that!!" glad to see the car back though
that sucks that they didn't take your motor....
Unless if your plan is to sell it now. Cause that would have been a very cheap and easy excuse for a swap. Good to hear you got your car back, good luck with insurance and with the cops finding the thieves.
