Default turn signal problem, no blown fuse.

ok, i just got done putting in some LED amber bulbs in my corner lights, and now they flash rapidly if i signal left or right, but if i do my hazards, its regular. and when they are off completly, one of the bulbs on each side is FAINTLY on, VERY dim. here are some pics

this is a picture of my passenger side...

this is the same side, but with no flash, the 4 little bits of light you see if the left bulb in the picture above

now here are some movies, for your enjoyment, if you care to see, and dant visualize what i'm talking about with the flashing fast and regular. dont mind the reverse indiglos

this is it flashing fast from inside

flashing fast from outside
http://home.comcast.net/~starrman85/MVI_0068.AVI

flashing regular inside
http://home.comcast.net/~starrman85/MVI_0067.AVI

flashing regular outside.

i checked fuses and nothing seems to be blown. could it be the bulbs themselves? they are LED amber 168/194 bulbs.

will i come out to my car tomorrow with a dead battery? if so, i'll go purchase regular amber bulbs tomorrow instead of the LED ones. thanks for the help

BTW, all pictures and movies were taken with a canon a70 digicam.

negative. all are working fine. the fast blinking doesn't annoy me as much as the led being barely lit, when the lights are off.

hey bro, why the picture so huge?
for sumone who have 56k..take me 5 min. to load the pic....

anyway, turn signal are simply on and offf.....relay get 12volt..and it go to a resitor in the relay and go to the bulb..the bulb got to be a certain resistance.if low resistance it will blink faster if higher resistance will blink slower......

so there nothing wrong w/ ur turn signal circuit.the problem is your aftermarket buld.....it's resitance is too low...there fore it blink faster,,,,

i would just change it back to stock or get the same "resistance rating as stock one...

good luck
sorry bad english..

heh, sorry for the big pictures, i need to learn to resize them, or take smaller pics with my camera....anyways, thanks for the info on the resistance thing. but i'm still stumped on why they are dim when i hvae lights off. could that have something to do with the resistance?
