Default Is your turbo watercooled ?

Just wondering... I am going to use a stock Mitsu turbo that seems to be watercooled. I would very much like to take advantage of this on my daily driver... BUT...

How do you hook it up ? tap off of the coolant nipples ? What ?
Is there supposed to be high or low pressure ? etc...

youve been on this board awhile im pretty sure you can search for it. you use the coolant lines under the throttle body.

I used the coolant lines from my stock oil cooler (B18C1).

Can you circle in RED for RETURN and GREEN for SEND please!

Also what size is the coolant hose?

the coolant can flow either direction, just as long as you use a high pressure coolant for feed, and low pressure for outlet.. as the TB uses-- hook them up either way they are best for you...

Would it be better/worse to use the lines to the heater core ? Where I am... I don't need to keep it hooked up.

I don't mean to jack your thread, but I was wondering if on a B16 with a typer manifold, does the passage that you block off on the manifold provide enuff pressure for this application?

I was actually gonna run it like this

"xtra passage from typer manifold-->turbo-->tee into throttle body water lines(i don't run these into the throttle body anymore since I have an aftermarket one)"

Just wondering if this would work.

So how do you know which side is high, which is low (pressure) ?

i used the throttle body coolant line, completely bypassed the tb all together, and ran the lines to my turbo, knocked out 2 birds with one stone.
