A while back a friend of mine got a 91 Civic Si, it had been in a small front end accident and only the bumper had to be replaced. After he drove it for a month or so he had excessive tire wear on the inside of the rear pass side. I told him to get an alignment to have it checked out but he didnt until this past weekend when the tire finally went bald on the inside.

So heres what he got...

F-Driver.....Camber -.7........F-Pass.....Camber -1.1
.................Toe -.06..........................Toe -.05

R-Driver.....Toe .06..........R-Pass.....Toe -.06
.................Camber -.03..................Camber -1.4

The specs for rear toe are .04 to .16 and they said that the right pass toe had been adjusted as far + as it could go. His camber is also as far neg as it can go to stay in spec... -1.4 to .06

Does this sound like a bent frame or a suspension part? I looked around and didnt notice anything too obvious. I havent done any suspension work on my EX yet so I'm as clueless as he is. What part controls camber/toe in the rear? My assumption would be to replace the upper and lower arms and go from there. Possibly the trailing arm but thats almost $200. What about worn bushings? It has 210k miles on it...If it was a bent frame I would suspect the other numbers would be as off as the one is. Opinions?

if you suspect a bent frame, there are places out there that can check and re-align it...I'm from about 3000miles away from you, so don't ask me where...but I know they are out there...SCC had it done on their project CRX a couple years ago...
