Default problems with set up. ctr cams pistons in b16....

just finisht breaking in first gen b16 with ctr standard pistons on b16 rods, with ctr cams, and type r springs under manley ti retainers. 1991Rsi (LS) running on stock fuel system. vtec does acctivate but doesnt seem to pull as hard right off the bat as the stock b16 did. i have ice man intake and rsr header. im wondering why there is no power past 5600 rpm. in fact it wont really even rev past 6grand. just kind of sits there like there is some kind of rev governer. had no problem reving to 8 before the build...????? oh yeah stock pr3 ecu.

does the car run sluggish anywhere else in the rpm range or just after vtec kicks in?
