my impressions of rear spoon lower tie bar.......
Well, I just installed the spoon rear lower tie bar that I purchased from Inline4.com, and I have to say that I am impressed. Turns feel slightly tighter than before, and the body feels a little more rigid. Overall I am happy, except for the fitment. I think this bar was designed to be used on cars without abs, because in order to install this correctly, we had to slightly move my abs lines down a little. I was a little hesitant to do this at first, but there have been no problems so I think everything will be okay. Anyway, I don't think any of the spoon cars have abs anyway! Well, just my 2 cents. Later.

hey - i just got mine - did you install yourself or have someone else do it - did you have to use a lift or did you just jack it up, how exactly did you move the ABS lines - just incase i run into the same fitment prob - thanx
I took it to a shop near me called modified motorsports. I didn't have access to the right jack. They jacked it up from the back under the towhook. I also didn't have the power tools needed to get the control arm bolts off. Install is basically a snap if you have the right tools. Anyway, if you hold it up to where it needs to go, you will see that the abs lines and bracket are in the way. At least that is how it is on my 97 GSR. We just carefully bent them downwards and shaved a little material off of the bracket and it fit nicely. Just be careful with your lines. We took our time and everything went ok. If you have any other questions, let me know.
