anyone know the size of tap i need to use to retap where the tranny bolt goes into the block?

 

you should be able to tell by what's left of it or the bolt that goes in there. most service manuals tell you the diameter and thread pitch. my guess would be that it is 10 x 1.25mm...but then again, i'm not looking at it.

 

tranny bolts are pretty big
if its a 17mm head on there
it should be 12mm x 1.25
