Tranny mount: usdm h22 vs. jdm h22

Tranny mount: usdm h22 vs. jdm h22
I heard that the jdm h22 tranny didnt not bolt in replacing the usdm h22 (92-96)tranny due to the tranny mount being in a slightly different location. Is this true? and if so, what is need to modify the mount?
