Default anyone ever remove the rotor guards?

Mine keep rubbing against the rotor...no matter how many times I push them back...they'll eventually work their way back to rubbing.

So I thought today "I wonder if it'd be alright to just cut the ******* off?"

Anyone ever do this? I cant think of any other way to keep them away...I know that if I continue to bend them away, little by little they are going to fall off anyways...

I feel like a dumb *** posting this ****...

One of my friends cut his off on his volkswagen, didnt do any harm. I would assume it would be the same for hondas, but I think you should wait for other people with 1st hand honda experience to chime in before you do it.

i removed mine a long time ago, because they got in the way of my big brake upgrade. I just cut mine off with a dremel. It doesnt harm anything removing them.

It is fine running without them. The only harm you do is loosing the protection they provide against debree. On the other hand they help your brakes cool better.

a lot of road racer's do it. leaving them on causes a bigger chance of warping your rotor if you brake hard...
