Default my car needs to be lowered

im either getting skunk 2 coilovers w/kyb gr2, or just some eibach sportlines w/ stock shocks. The reason im not getting the best stuff is cause i dont have enough money.

Anyone with a del sol have eibach sportlines and have a pic to share?

ill post a pic of my car later today to show you how much my car is in need of being lowered

agx are about about double the price of the gr2. I wouldn't mind getting the agx if they were a little cheaper. Ill see what i can find

DO NOT USE GR2 SHOCKS WITH A LOWERED CAR!!! they are an oem replacement, and putting them on a car with coil over sleeves would kill them too quickly.

the setup you want, i'm guessing, is going to cost about $500, right? for an economic yet decent drop, go with H&R Sport Springs, which http://www.tirerack.com has listed at $156 for your car, and some KONI special shocks, which are $77 each, also from tirerack. i've got the H&R Sport Springs and Tokico Illumina (gas, non-adj) shocks, and i think for what i paid, i've got a great ride. i couldn't find tokicos anywhere for the sake of this post, but they're out there, and i'm pretty sure they list at less than $77 each. at wholesale, i paid about $350 for the springs and shocks, so they couldn't be that expensive...

I run Gr.2's in combo with my GF210 Tanabe's and they are awesome.
Gr.2's work with lowered cars. Just don't dump it 3"'s.

I find the GF210's aren't overly stiff, but you know they are there. They'll lower the front 1.78 inches if you have a B series. I no longer get wheel rub and have not grounded ANYTHING with them in. Fantastic spring IMO.

i would save up a little more and get a better setup, you will enjoy the better handling and feel. although im sure most of the users on this board don't use their setups to their fullest so they don't need top knotch stuff, really you should get what suits your driving.

I agree, I've been riding on GR2's with Sportline springs for about a year, no problem. Although I'm just going to kill the bank next and get Koni Yellows with the same springs next, that should be a pretty good setup...

I've always like the pro-kit's as far as performance goes... they're a much more well rounded spring that performs well as both a daily driver and performance spring...

Although they don't drop as much as the sportlines (too bouncy from my experience).

I had eibach prokit springs and kyb gr2's on my 93 sentra and they were SICK... I loved that suspension and put over 90k on it with NO deterioration of the feel over time.

They do leave you wishing it was a little lower though...

Don't exactly know why but I like my car at stock ride hieght... and the stock susp. actually still performs SICK with 160k on it (stock springs and shocks (with es masterkit)). I've had SEVERAL people ask if I had a suspension after driving in the car.

I agree with every1 thats sayin not to get the gr2s, because there is alot better shocks u can get for not much more money. I have a del sol Si and im dropped on H&R sports with kyb agx. I love the adjusability of the agx and they are well worth it. I only paid $340 for my agx, and my springs were like $120. I would prefer a little bigger drop than the H&R sports even though the ride with H&Rs is not bad at all. U might wanna think about just some tein springs cuz they arent too pricey on some good shocks. The HRs gave a 1.3 in the front and a 1.25 in the rear, its a nice drop but i wish it was a little lower and i bet most people would too.
