single cam turbo... 13.3@106
i was doing a 13.81@100 with 8lbs street trim.. my idea was to run 12lbs, different tires(happened to be worse than the other time), no rear bumper, no front/rear seats, straigh dp... think about this guys.. i'm running hx rims with stock firestone tires.. i pull up to the line.. first run.. i take off first and im spinning the tires.. cant get traction so i'm kinda pumping the gas to maybe get traction.. same thing thrgouh second.. kinda through 3rd and i finally catch.. i finish the track and i pull up to get my slip... this is what came out..

second run comes up.. the car has blowby already by the way.. no biggey.. i have an extra motor in the garage.. died once.. idled funny.. i didn't care.. so anyways.. pulled up to the line... great lauch.. great 1/8th.. a tad bit after the 1/8th, the car bogs to hell and blah... heres what the slip reads...

so as you can see.. that run was a 12 second run.. i passed the 1/8th about 75 ft or so already going 100mph.. then coasted cuz the car wouldn't pick up anymore.. 92 mph.. oh wells.. turbo is still fine.. swapping things over today.. hehe... over to a vx swap.. my back-up.. i'm going to put my z6 im, gsr tb, z6 tranny, act clutch, and turbo kit over into the vx motor and run like 7lbs or something.. thanks for reading this long stupid post .. i will have a video of both runs soon.. thanks..

i dont see that 2.1 60 ft = 12s in the other end. the difference in the 60fts is minimal at best. 1/2 a 2/10th would have been 1/10th at the other end. could have been low low 13s but not 12s. MPH is good, should invest in DRs or slicks then its 12s easy.

nah.. i think i woulda hit a 12.. as i said, like right when i hit the 1/8th mark my car was dying out already.. it woulda been a 12 second run.. 13.5@95.. im pretty confident i woulda hit a 12 with that setup.. but hey.. oh wells right... it's a thing in the past.. right now my setup is the same cept for the swap.. it's a mini-me right now..

if you didnt hit a 12 w/ your first pass 1/8 mile MPH of 87, you wouldnt hit the 12 w/ your second pass 1/8 mile MPH of 85.
i can say i would hit a 12 all day but my #'s dont add up just like yours.
also its hard to understand but i think you were trying to say you were going 100mph seventy five feet past the 1/8 mile marker on your 2nd run? haha...how are you going to pick up 15mph 75ft past the marker w/ your setup? ****, at that pace you would have been hitting about 140+ by the 1/4.....hahahhaahaaa

damn.. im watching that 13.5 vid and my lauch seemed so good
eventhough it was onl a 2.1 it seemed like a grasshoper jumping away from huge hands trying to catch it.. pretty good for shittiny stock hx firestones..
