Default H22a power beyond 7500 RPM

Is anyone making good power beyond 7500 RPM with a "street" H22 engine? I know that power can be made, but I would like to see some dyno sheets posted comparing TQ and HP. I have heard all kinds of claims, but I want to see actual dyno plots to verify the actual power made above 7500 RPM.
MAny of the "hardcore" H22's I have seen seem to stop making power at or just before 7500 RPM.

Mine does not make any more power past 7500, it peaks about there, maybe a tad lower, but if I keep reving to past 8, the power never drops, kind of interesting.

Robb, what kind of power and TQ are you making?

I've never seen a dyno of an H22 that was able to maintain good torque past that . . . . I suspect that without significant headwork (enlarged valves & such) complimenting your cams, it just can't pull in enough air up there. And of course, the lack of a good n/a IM option doesn't help much.

Here is the way I see it... it's just a matter of building to make power there... Jeremy Lookofsky's all-motor CRX runs a H22 that's been stroked and bored and stretched out past 2.6 liters. It makes GOBS of torque out to about 8300(shift light) and it's not even mean't for high-revs. I personally want to build a "high-revving" H22 but, it means alot of balancing and flow work... kind of depends of what you want to do with it.

I haven't seen many H22's either that do not make power above 7500 RPM, although I have not seen the JUN H22 cams on a dyno yet.

Corey made the same whp with an SMSP header and a cai. I believe that he has a H22A1 and not the H22A also.

I'd forgotten about that Import Builder dyno. Looks like they're maintaining their torque to 8,000 rpms, which is pretty good. Of course, the raw numbers aren't super impressive, but fuel/ignition tuning as well as an exhaust would probably remedy that.

I understand what you mean about "building for high revs". I also am no stranger to stroker engines myself... That wasn't my point. I am mearly stating that there are claims of h22's making power up to 9K, I saw the import builders dyno sheet, and so far it is the only h22 I have seen make power over 8K.

We have a h22a that redlines at 9500 rpm. All motor street car. It makes power all the way to 9k, and it doesnt just drop drastically after. even at 9380 rpm its still within 5whp from what it makes at 9k. SO yes it is possibe.

Is that the ATR motor with ITBs, cams, and a custom header?
edit: Header, not exhaust

I think thats like the 2nd dyno i've seen of a actuall h22 engine making power past 8k. But i'm not seening to much people using jun cams. I have heard the skunk2 2/3 make good power all the way to 9k. Any dynos of people with skunk2 2 or 3 cams on a h22 engine?

Im selling a 91 accord with H-22 type s motor kit.Its got an lsd transmission, and dynoed 182 hp and 156 torque to the wheels.Driven hard daily and never misses any oil.The car ran 14.19@100mph on slicks. Not bad for a car weighting in at over 3300 lbs.
Photos can be seen at http://www.autolaminar.com in the hybrid section under Marks H-22 hybrid
All interested in this car price has been lowered to 9000 with mags .That is in canadian funds.H-22 type s kits are few and far between.Call (514)595-5394 ask for rob
