Default turbo "kit" on my b18c1 hatch

just a quick question. i have a 93 si hatch with a c1 motor and about all the bolt ons. it's pretty quick and very fun to drive. runs consistant 14.5's @95. i think im going to want some more power in the near future and think im going turbo.

i really dont want to do ANY internal work just yet. later yes but not now.

im thinking of getting either a drag or greddy kit and running conservative boost. about 7 psi give or take a lb.

can anyone reccomend either kit and what kind of times could i expect out of it?

do you want to pass smog or not? Greddy kits are carb legal only if you don't add the intercooler or BOV...just FYI....

friend had same identical setup you have now with slicks i/h/e and msd ignition on slicks ran 14.2 at 97mph now he has a f-max turbo kit puts down 223whp untuned on mustang dyno. it went 12.9@108 mph on 22/6/14 m/t's

how much boost was he running to hit 12.9? and was that on street tires or slicks?

i dont have smog check in my area and emissions is not a problem for me no cat for sure.

i also have a skunk manifold and plan on having the t-body bored if i turbo.

if i go through with this my goal is to hit 12's on azenis's. i dont car if its a 12.999 thats fine.

i do plan on building the motor eventually, so upgradability would be nice too.

no smog check?!?!?! get the full-race kit...and run 3" from the turbine to the exhaust.....and run on mild boost till you can get your internals done. it's abit expensive, but in the end you'll be kissing your manifold and kit
