What is the widest tire to fit on stock 90 Si

I am try to find out which is better for AutoX. 15" Civic Si or 14" CRX Si rim. I know that I can push 205 into 15" no problem but how about stock 14" aluminum wheel?

I have 205/55's on my stock Si rims for autocrossing their is some rubbing front and rear during hard cornering but very little.

Also the smaller rim will be better for the gearing and acceleration.

I have 205/45/16's on mine... Lowered 2 inches...I had to bend the inner wheel well up aliitle and remove the plastic edging...Not to bad...15 minutes worth of work, clean and simple.... Got Kumho tires if that matters.... No Rubbing at all..
