what a retarded question.
Depends if you go N/A or turbo and how much you tune and the quality of the parts you put onto it. As far as I'm concered, the power of an engine is unlimited. All it takes is $$$.

Well, not to be a dick, but he could have searched a little before asking that question. However, we shouldn't be so mean to the new guy. But he is right, it comes down to how much money you are willing to spend.

My bad guys. I was just simply asking that question to see if it was even worth building a DX engine or should I just swap it out. But I think for what I want it to do, I will be better off going with a B18b1 and turbo. Thanks for the replies though.

Well with a good block/turbo setup and proper fuel management you can get 250-300 streetable whp out of it. Just a thought....

Really, ok if I decided to do the swap first, and then put the same amount of money in it that it would take to make that much HP in a DX, how much more HP could I end up with. Thanks for being patient with me guys

would have to talk to someone who did the same swap. I'd say it doesn't hurt to find out. go for it. at least you didn't say turbo b18c7...which i've heard before.
