I haven't put my CAI through the hole yet because it has been too wet around here. I have heard that you can get to it by removing the wheel well on the right hand side. If you need to cut it bigger use a dremmell

what i did is remove the first few clips on my front bumper so i could get to the bolt. Used a rachet with i think a 14mm attachment. It WAS a bitch, but that's cuz i tried to do it for about an hour before i decided to loosen up the bumper.

I enlarged my hole, getto style, with a drill, a hammer, and a file, but i'm probably going to go back and clean it up once i get some of my tools back from a delinquent loanee friend.

here's short description of removing the airbox/resonator - you may get away with just removing the turn signal to get to the bolts. this is for 92-96, but i don't think there is much if any difference

You don't need to remove the bumper - just the fender liner.

You can use any number of methods for enlarging the hole - grinder/reciprocating saw/big hammer/jig-saw/etc...

well when you remove the wheel well you can get to most of the bolts for the resonator except for the last one with is tucked in and hard to get to, which is why i loosened up the bumper. If you're more coordinated than i am, which is entirely possible, you don't need to. but after you take out the wheel well, you'll look and see a few bolts and screws which attach to the bumper. I got away with taking out only 2 or 3 of these. Once you're in there it should be pretty straightforward, and you shouldn't have to take off the whole bumper.
