i was wondering if anyone knows the difference between the modified street disc and the preformance organic street disc. i am planning on the hd pressure plate, but wasnt sure on the disc to get. its goin in my d16z6 with i/h/e/cam and 50 shot. i just dont wanna spend alot and have it slip on me..thanks in advance

 

We no longer offer a modified disc for the D motor. We offer stock (OO) and performance organic (SS). The performance organic doesn't hold more power (maybe slightly) but has steel backed linings that are of better material to take abusive driving. The steel backing eliminates the chance of blowing the linings off at high rpm such as when you shift to second when you meant to shift to forth. The performance organic also has reduced marcel action for quicker engagement and disengagement without being too violent.
