Do High Flow cats really make a difference?

If so, what's the best brand to get? or its just a waste of money to buy one?

you get about 1 or 2 horses without one, but i think its not worth it. just get a carsound cat, they have diff. sizes for what you need.

keep your cat, its a 95% polution mod and about 5% performance, plus you will be breathing too not just the car behind you.....

Actually depending on the application carsound cats burn cleaner than stock and are freer flowing. Highflow cats can be a huge improvement if your stock cat is clogged as well.

Bingo.

I run the Carsouns 2.5'' cat and have had no problems thus far.

It is highly recommended that you have your car dyno tuned for a/f ratio though, because apparently CarSound cats HATE rich conditions and the bricks inside rot away and fall apart.

I've never ran mine rich and so I guess that's why it's been great thus far.

after: 168 hp (flywheel)


yes it does make a difference (on a b16a2 anyways)..Mine's a random technology cat
