Default My EG6 from Russia, Moscow (+)

Hello!

I'm the new one on this board and I hope I'll stay here for a long time
In the begining I have to say, that my english is terrible, but I hope you'll exuse me for it

Let me show you some pictures of my car. That's black EG6 Civic VTi'95 with stock B16A2 inside.
I plan to buy and install JDM B18C5 from right-handed Integra Type-R.

If you have any question about russian Hondas - ask it for me There are some interesting cars in Moscow. Not so much, as in USA, but "Tuning of Honda" is very young busines here.

And now, there are some pics "In motion" of my EG6:

Hey, your car looks pretty nice and clean. I like everything but the tail lights. Here in the U.S. those are illegal. Nice car.

They aren't illegal, I don't think. The new Lexus SUV has clear tails, oem.

Sweet car, I like seeing European styled cars, cool.

Car looks great, and those pics are bad-*** in terms of artsiness.

I like your tailgate the most - wide-*** plate area looks cool.

As far as the tails go, they used to be popular here in the U.S about 4-5 years ago. I don't mean that to be rude at all, but i'm just telling you because I'm sure some people will continue to make comments about them.

In the U.S we have to have 3 square inches of red reflective material on our tails, so that's why we don't see too many of those type lights anymore.

I prefer stockers, but it's your car, your style.

Welcome to the board.

By the way, I must ask this:

How did your car come with a B16A2 when it *should* have a B16A in it? I mean to say that the B16A2 was used in 1996-2000 model cars in the U.S and other countries - how'd you get a newer motor in your car?

Did you or someone else replace the original B16A with a newer B16A2?

Hi!

There is a different between USA and other contries
We don't have any limits about tail lights, but mine are German TUV certifited. But this fact won't save its from change, because i do't like its

About engine...
The second generation of B16A was installed in european version of Civic VTi (3door and 4door) from 1992 to september 1995. It's DOHC VTEC 160 hp engine.
Absolutly stock, no swap or something.

Those are two totally different animals...There can be no comparison. As a new Lexus owner, and an owner of an Altezza at that, if the factory put them there, they`re A-OK

Actually Trey the B16A2 also came in the OBD2 1996-1997 Del Sol VTEC as well as the 1999-2000 Si coupes.

I've seen a 1997 Del Sol VTEC with the stock B16A2 in it before...
