o.k. I had my ZC for three years and best times I've gotten were 15.1 with just a intake and exhaust with light weight flywheel thats all. I turboed my ZC with a " Junkyard set-up using a WRX turbo and best I got NOT TUNED RIGHT on street tires spinning tires like crazy on a Si trans was a 14.0 ( only ran it twice at the track but smokeda lot of people else where ) now I blew up my turbo zc motor ( dropped a valve ) and now I'm putting in my new project motor. I know alot effects what you run at the track but I just want to get a general idea. Here my set-up I'm doing this to get a baseline time before I go LS/VTec. I will run my car 4 times each with different set-ups Here it is:
OBD1 B16 with a YS-1 Cable "LSD" trans
intake stock B series header and custom exhaust
ACT 8lb flywheel , SPEC racing 6 puck clutch
MSD blaster coil and wires
thats really all I'll have done and this is what I'l be doing when I run:
1st run:
everything listed above on street tires
2nd run :
everything listed above but on Nitto Drag street/slicks
3rd run everything listed above on street tire NO exhaust
4th run everything listed above No exhaust and on street slicks.

 

Why woudl you want to run down teh 1/4 mile? wouldn't driving make more sense? j/k, you'll be somewhere between 14.0-15.5

I'm just woundering you know to see if it's like others. I usually don't run my car at the track and in fact hate it but I have to get a base line time if I start talking about what I really do with it I'm sure I'll get another notice about it and have the post shut down and given a warning again.

 

I guess since his s/n says ef9 he's talking about a hatch?
