i'm about to buy a set of coilovers. I'm not sure if they're the specific koni ones but would they still work if i dont use the adapters. I see gc's fitting on kyb's with the perches but why cant they go over the perches on gc's? they look the same to me. I can see how the adapter allows more room but other then that i dont see much of a difference. PLease help me out.

 

I have the koni yellows and ground control coilovers. I believe the coilovers will fit over the seats where the regular springs will sit on. All you need to do is get those rubber o-rings from coilover kits that uses them to keep the sleeves stable over the shocks. I was going to do this setup to save some money but I decide to get the koni specific sleeves to get rid of the koni spring perches for a cleaner, and more durable platform. But yea it will work, just might hear some creaking noise over speed bumps or whatever, not a big deal... If you decide like me to get sleeves, they cost me about $100 bux later

when you dont use the adapters for the konis is the adjustablility of the coilovers limited?
