did k&n filter make your intake louder?
which filter did you use?

I want to get a k&n filter (ru2820) but I don't know if they make noise like short ram or cai's

if you remove the resonator it'll make a nice sound with or without the k&n

I have the E-2427 filter on my stock tube and airbox. At WOT with complete airbox, it sounds less loud than paper filter + uncovered airbox, but louder than fully assembled airbox + paper filter. I don't think it is as loud as short rams or CAIs.
