SSR or ADR wheels?
I really want the the ssr competitions because they are so light, but some ADR c-pro wheels are about 1/4 the price. Will I really be able to notice the 4 extra pounds of the ADR's? I'm just trying to decide if I should bother saving up the 1300 dollars. Any help would be appreciated.
those lbs wont mean much, but if you want lightweight go for say konig heliums or rotas, but if your stuck on that design get the ards and save some money, then take out the spare and make up for that weight
ADR wheels are garbage. They are prone to bending and cracking. You're paying extra for the SSR's not just for the weight savings, but also because the wheels are much stronger. If you cannot afford them, get Rotas instead. Rotas make decent wheels for cheap.

Yea ADR isnt that great, I have heard numerous stories of them cracking within months of thier purchase.

Well I am actually running adr concept pros on my gs-r right now with falken azenis, and I have had no problems whatsoever. I've heard people say that they've seen them crack, but I've had mine for close to 2 years; they've been through countless drag launches, potholes etc. and they are still as good as new.

Thanks for the tips. My car is grey so that is why I want gunmetal rims with a polished lip. I am going to get 15s so I'm not too concerned about cracking or bending the rims since the 55 series should take more abuse than say 40 series tires. I am also considering the rota grids. They are roughly the same price and weight as ADR c-pro. Anyone have a pic of a grey integra with gunmetal wheels?

Never heard that one before. So if you run 2 identical cars, except one has Volk TE-37s, the Volk-equipped car should be running what, like 1.5s faster than the stock car with stock rims?
LMAO
